The Bowens is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, sitting peacefully opposite the church, on the edge of Fownhope village.

Bowens Bed and Breakfast is located in a tranquil Herefordshire village about 8 miles from Hereford. Fownhope has two pubs, the Red River Restaurant at Wye Leisure and a village store, all within walking distance. There are several other pubs serving food just a short drive away in other nearby villages.

The location is ideal for touring, walking and exploring the Welsh Borders, Malverns, Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons and the Herefordshire countryside.

Formally a 17th century stone farmhouse, The Bowens has been tastefully restored and provides comfortable accomodation in approximately 1 acre of beautiful gardens.
